my friends told me that eating an egg gives a jump start in the morning and gives you good memory. i'm aware that eggs are high in cholestrol and fat, so do you think it's a good idea to eat a boiled egg everyday?

It's most certainly good for you. The egg is the only form of food that contains ALL the essential amino acids, which your body needs to make new cells. And your body is constantly busy making new cells for all epithelial.

Amino acids are the 'building blocks' of life so to speak. You can eat any other protein of course to try to get your daily portion of amino acids, but nothing will contain all of the ones you need and there's no point in eating lots of it because you're body won't hang on to them: you'll just wee out the excess.

So either the egg, or a very smart combination of a number of other protein rich foods.

An egg a day is pretty much standard. When I eat two eggs in one day though, I skip the egg the next day. Cholesterol isn't as bad as you think, there is a necessary amount to intake everyday to regulate your cellular functions.

Since many people eat meats and poultry which are high in cholesterol, it's best to cut down on it. So for example, yes ONE EGG a day is fine. Some fats are also necessary for your body's maintainence. Just make sure you eat things that are low in saturated fats and cholesterol. If you do eat things that are high in it, just don't eat too much of it. It's okay to indulge every once in awhile just make sure you're not eating high amounts all the time.

No,i personally don't think so.think about all those fats and cholesterols having a party in your body, clogging your arteries.what i do is that, when i eat boiled egg (that's if i do) i only eat the egg white and not the york.try that and good luck.

depends on your health! egg white are great because they have good protein but little cholesterol so you can eat bunch of them per week. egg yellows have a lot of cholesterol so 2 a week is all you need! boiled eggs are great but remove the egg yolk! i keep a dozen boiled eggs in the frig quite often. just eat the whites!!!!!

Yes, especially if you remember to crack-it-open first........doubt that it would digest if you didn't, or blend very well in a cake recipe....hope that helps.
