Carraway Davies house is good, as well as that place on Highland Avenue (Nice venue, but terrible catering). The Club also is nice with a good view of the city. Botanical Gardens would work as well. Then have a meeting facility that could work as a reception venue.

The Botanical Garden do nice food and then you could have photographs taken in the beautiful grounds. Other than that there are just hotels really. I know the Edgbaston Palace Hotel and the Plough and Harrow on the Hagley Road are popular venues too.

I am also getting married in Birmingham in July 07. How much do you want to spend. We only planned to spend 5000 on our total wedding and we have come out way head. Try Reo's if you don't care about cost, but if you are paying for it yourself like I am you should try your local recreation centers you will be surprised.

as a wedding planner from bham it all depends on budget. many city centre hotels now offer wedding packages 4 all sorts of budgets. my favourite places over the years have been Hyatt Hotel, botanical gardens, and metropole hotel(bham airport). other than that consult the yellow pages where u often find good venues other than bham like, staffordshire (warwickshire registry office is beautiful). hope this helps.

Im not likely too specific on accessible venues yet i be responsive to a pair hint and tricks to maintain expenses down for something of the marriage. At our wedding ceremony, I made each and all of the bouquets from extreme high quality silk flora. they look the comparable, do not die after a pair of days and that they make a great memento of the day for you and your bridesmaids. additionally, for wedding ceremony favors, we went to Ikea and offered a pair packing containers of champagne flutes and a few glass paint and painted the date of the marriage on the foot of the flutes, have been given some ribbon and tied it around the stem and filled the glasses with little "hugs and kisses" goodies. on the pc, we made little tags says "hugs and kisses, love Helen and Steve Nov. sixth, 2004", it made it very own and it additionally gave them some thing to consume on the tip of the night. desire this helps with the expenses.
