Birds and cockateils in particular are very intelligent and are natural born mimics.He has probably watched you pleasuring youself on your perch (know what I mean!!)

No hes not pleasuring him self, this is usually a sign of digestive problems from spoiled foods or a repiratory problem, take him to the Vet asap!!!

yep all birds do this its all part of nature when my tiels are not breedin they get seperated into groups of male and female for around 4-6 weeks and they always get horny and do as your bird is doing
if you get him a mate he will be well up for it and youll probably get some eggs quite quickly
