You complain that people fear you or discriminate against you, but your leadership's silence on terrorism appears to be an endorsement of it. Can you blame people for their fear?

Precious--sorry, you don't know where I come from so your answer is completely irrelevant.
To the comment about Christians-- also irrelevant. I'm asking about Muslims, not Hindus, Jews, Christians or JWs.
To the comment about Muslims not having leaders, I don't buy it. Who leads the local mosque?
Finally, those who say Muslim leaders have spoken out, please send me links. I really was asking this as a legitimate question, not a criticism. If the media is supressing such information, let's bring it out in the open ourselves.

Iam not a Muslim but i wish to make a point, that not all Muslims are violent terrorist, nor are all catholics members of the IRA.
but i live very close to a Muslim area and the leaders of that community have spoken out, at local level, they work with the local police to attempt to identify those within the community that are fervent supporters of the terrorists, however the Muslims that are recruited by the terror organizations do so covertly terrorist do not wear uniforms, they wear the same garb as the worshiping Muslims who are decent people, we need clear and distinct message of condemnation from national leaders of Muslims and Islamic churches the religious hierarchy need to send out a clear message. and we need to listen.

Look my friend, it is a media war..... The muslim leaders do speak against it... but their reactions hardly reaches the viewers as they depend upon the media... You have to decide and debate on the meaning of terrorism.... What Israel did on lebanon is not terrorism??? what america did to innocent Iraqi people is not terrorism...? If america provides weapon to Israel, it is not terrorism, and if Iran provides weapn to Lebanon, you said that Iran is supporting terrorism... For God sake, just in the name of HUMANITY, onlu HUMANITY, think once, with open mind... Forget religion, forget everything, just think from the point of humanity....
Regards...

I wonder if christian leaders speak out against the terror and atrocities committed by their people, they seem to support the the purportraitors. Christians should be feared because of this.
people fear muslims because they are different, not because there are terrorists who are muslim (the media is full of lies)

All you are able to desire to do is furnish a itemizing of who you think of is a "well-liked muslim." i might guess the only one you are able to call devoid of peeking is Cat Stevens. extraordinarily lots each and every international chief has brazenly denounced terrorism.

There was a Muslim rally for peace in Washington some weeks ago. The media ignored it.

Most Muslim leaders do not speak out against terrorism because they are not against it.....
What else could be the reason ?

Yea they do, but the media doesn't broadcast those things, they are more interested in causing fear then showing muslims in a peaceful way.
