If they can't give you any reasonable explanation in why they don't like him then yes most likely they are jealous. If you like him and you know that he is good to you, your well being is more important than someone else's opinion. Does your boyfriend know that your friends don't like him? What is feelings about it? If he tells you to not talk to them and forget about them maybe they do see something you don't. Talk to your friends about it maybe if they spend some time around the two of you together they can get to know him. Don't forget to spend time with you friends they just miss you. He should understand that you have friends and other interests. Guys sure have no problem ditching us for their friends. It's not worth losing friends over a guy especially if you haven't been dating him long.

There is nothing like your best friends, but when they start coming between you and your man, you need to tell them to back off. Some women just like to meddle. You have to be able to tell when they have your best interest in mind or when they just want to butt in for misery's sake. Misery loves company. Are they single, married, dating? They might be more focused on you because your relationship is doing better than their relationships are. Most groups of friends can rejoice in a friend's happiness, others can not. Let them know that you love them, but also let them know how much your man means to you.

Its easier to see things from a different perspective. Your friends are able to see things better from the outside of the situation and obviously see something that you don't see and that they don't like. If they are your friends, trust their input it may save you from the heartache in the end. Boys are whatever friends are forever.

They are right. They see him in a different light because your feelings are blocking your true eyesight. If you truly like him and want to continue being with him make sure he doesn't have any abusive tendencies. Then talk to him about it and see if he wants to change. No one can change another persons ways they have to do it themselves and it takes time. Good luck.

If they can't say why he is mean then the don't have a case. If he was trying to mess with them or others girls they should tell you. It is more like they are trying to make you choose.
Do you spend all your time with him? Break arrangements with them to hang with him? Blow them off to be with him?

i have the same problem!! except they think my boyfriend is annoying. which he can be, but i get over it. we've been dating for 6 months. and just don't hang out with your bf and friends at the same time. if they're real friends, they'll accept him if you love him and he makes you happy

Perhaps they see something in him that you do not, since this sounds like love. Wait and see what develops.
