24m goes to a gym talks to a girl working there who's in her 20s. He says he saw her before and indeed he had, a week ago, at a bar. He said his friend thought she was totally hot and he liked some other girl instead.... 5min later it came up that she said she was weird.. they joked about it and he said he liked it.. he said: read my mind what do I want? her: my number. him: no. I wanna know if you'll go out with me. her: maybe, call me (writes number). him: you call me. her: I don't call boys. him: are you a pain in the a$s? her: eh, maybe, but I'm way worth it. here. him, playing with the paper and putting it back down, not taking it: eh I'll see you around later.. maybe you'll change your mind.
Her face went from smiling to immediately deer-in-headlights not smiling. QUESTION: What did she think? And, generally, what just happened in that interaction?

Two people w/ big egos duking it out, the guy decides to mess with this chicks head, the chick was totally convinced he was going for it, and he took the round with a cheap shot. She may have kind of liked him, so she may have been a little disappointed.
