I get this painful 'kink' in my neck about once year. It's so bad that I can't rotate my head to the left or right. It pretty much ruins my entire day from the pain and will last for a good 2-3 days.

kimcheelee may I suggest that you is sleeping crooked and
the best results : find an better way just do neck rotation every day until kink is gone

Try a product called butterfly massage, maybe it will work. Search it in google.
