My husband was diagnosed with it 4 years ago, a lot depends on the stage you have, he is still in stage0-1 so there is no treatment, other people we know with it have gone through treatments, there are a lot of new drugs out. We belong to a support group, and this really helps. Contact the Luckemia Society they will help you. good luck to you. If you are in stage 1 it is a watch and wait thing, with doctor visits and blood tests every 3 months.

i'm very sorry to hear that, is it a lymphatic leukemia you're talking about? I dont have much to say i dont have it, but have known a couple of people who did. So much depends on the stage and the treatment and on the person too. Isnt there a group you can contact either internet or local groups? You will meet people who are going through the same thing. I wish you every courage, strength and hope.

i thought CLL was a precursor to cancer? Isn't it leukemia a blood disorders but not cancer. I thought it leads to lymphoma some of the time

I'm sorry to hear that.

Please contact a cancer charity helpline.
I got this link from the cancer uk website.
The best help will be from people who have gone through what you are experiencing now
Best wishes
