On Sept 1st, I was at a concert. And afterwards my ears were ringing, no big deal, that always happens to me, so I go and try to sleep it off (as that is what normally happens). The next day, the ringing is still there, as well as the next day. Should I be worried about this? Or should it eventually go away by itself?
I can hear just fine, and the ringing is less *loud* as it was yesturday. But I am still worried about the fact I may be going deaf since the previous answers on here have been rather stern.
I normally visit these concerts in stadiums, big, open areas. However, the one from two days ago was in a rather smaller venue, maybe the size of a elementary school cafeteria.
Let me know anything you can tell me :\ Thanks.

My ears rang for three days after an AC/DC concert in 2000. The ringing eventually went away. Give your ears a few days to recover.
If they are still ringing in a week, go see an ear/nose/throat specialist. Cite source for worse case scenarios. Good luck.

My ears have been ringing since i was 15 ( i am 30 now) from a combination of music and firearms. It;s called tenitis. Your ringing may fade away in a few more days, but if you do that kind of thing too much (like i did), you will eventually damage the nerve in your ear, causing tenitis or tinitis or tenitus or however it is spelled.

I think that it will go away. Your ears are just recovering. The ringing is a form of tinnitus from the loud music. That it is fading indicates to me that your ears will "heal" in time. I have friends who wear earplugs to the small venues that host concerts. You may try that next time.

It means that the damage you are doing to your ears is adding up. It will take longer and longer to bounce back and the damage will continue unless you begin to take care or your ears. The ringing will go away soon, but the damage you did will not. You MUST wear earplugs next time to cut down on the impact on your hearing.

I heard ringing in my ears too, like louder hearing test. It could be tinnitus. Gets louder over time. Use this to reduce the ringing.

do you have medical ins?
most have a 24hr nurse line you could call to get advise.
but next time, wear ear plugs to a concert.
you'll still be able to hear the music plenty, but might not have the consequences you have now.
it could help, but it wont hurt to try
