Well... if they do, I guess its because girls who are athletic aren't (usually) dumb airheads who are worried about manicures and pedicures... aren't worried about how they look as much. Plus, they usually have higher goals in life other than just getting that hot guy in algebra to ask them out.
That's just my guess though.... I'm not athletic at all though.

Hi most boys and men look at athletic girls and lady because that is a sign that they care about there looks and there body. Girls or women that are over weight is a good sign that they don't take good care of them selfs. You need to look at the big Pic also. Most Athletic girls and woman or snobs and looking for a guy that has money. They are not looking for love. But also. Most over weight grils or women will take any guy that comes along. Look around and you will see what I mean. Athletic girls and women are with a guy that have money and good looking. Girls and women that are over weight are with the fat guys that are over weight and bold and not so good looking. LOOK AROUND... Eveyone wants that fox or stud at there side. But you may fine that you will that we all get what we want. Take you time. Find the right guy. He is out there.

I assume that you say that because that is what you've seen or how you feel. With that being said maybe they like them because they are in shape and their body is nice and tight. It is very good to be in shape but it doesn't make them better than you OK. So don't worry too much about those boys liking those atletic girls. Apparently you would want a boy to like you for you right? not how you look right? cause if a guy is with you for your looks then when ur look go or if u was in a accident and ur face got messed up. HE might leave u. So make sure a guy is with you because he feels that u are beautiful inside and out taht way u'll have less problems hun.
Try to get involved in some community activities or something that you really enjoy doing. MAybe you'll meet a cute boy that really like u for u and not ur looks.

Cause you get more in common. Like most boys are athletci so it would be a good couple to be with someone else athletic. And mostly athlectic girls have good bodies.

I don't know if guys prefer athletic to skinny or curvy. I am athletic myself but i don't think i get anymore attention than the average girl but if i do i think it's more my height than my body.

Because most athletic girls arent fat or stuck up and shallow. They like to get dirty and are tough. Guys like that. Fat chicks and stuck up girls are a dime a dozen.

Hi Helpful. This is really a good question. I don't think its just because they want to look at tighter bodies or have sex or anything like that. I think it is beneath that. I think men have always seen us women as the source of life. That is why they fear us and want to control us at the same time. We represent life for them so they are drawn to us just as they find us confusing to them. A really healthy looking young woman is the picture of life. She is this quality of ours to the tenth degree. Therefore, men are urged to chase her because she has the best bloodline (or so they instinctively think).

Not always true.
I was always attracted to the big girl. Call her fat or what you want. Only girls with meat on their bones are attractive.
Not interested in some skinny thing.
That's one reason I LOVE my wife all 300lbs.
