First off going through puberty makes your hair fall out more than usual. Also get a hair straingthening shampoo and conditioner also don't brush your hair when it's wet only comb it with a wide tooth comb finally ask your parents/ go see a doctor because when women have slow thyroids heir tends to fall out. I know all this because it happened to me and I ended up being fine. I hoped I helped and everything is okay!

Number 1- stop stressing. Stress does so much. Think about what you've done to your hair recently and stop doing it. Read the bottles of shampoo etc.from now on. Go to a stylist that you trust get the hair treated and start from scratch. All will be fine.

Shampooing everyday is damaging to dry, cracked hair. Condition it everyday and shampoo it every other. If you use a flat iron, make sure you use a protective product before. W/out the proper products the flat iron will tear your hair up.

You're supposed to lose about 180 to 200 hairs a day.

If it is more than that, you might want to quit yanking it out to prove to yourself that it is happening.

Try taking hair vitamins, hydrate yourself and take Biotin. Wash your hair every day or every other day and use a clarifying shampoo once a week.

PLEASE see a reputable stylist QUICKLY. During consultation (which ALL stylists should do) they will be able to let you know if they suggest that you see a dermatologist or a physician.... we've been trained to recognize MANY of the conditions of the skin/scalp/hair/nail conditions that require medical attention. Hey, why not visit your doctor FIRST just to be sure it's not anything else. Good luck!

Have you recently colored or permed it? That would make it very damaged. if not, have you recently had a baby, or are on or just went off birth control? These can make hair fall out really bad.
