What would happen if aliens landed,

or say a God, not yours, sorry, someone else's God came down from heaven and said Hi I'm here to be king,
so if your a Christian its not Jesus its someone else besides Jesus, and ahh, yeah,

so just a hypothetical, see how this plays out,

(Hunch based on doing yahoo answers since December, there will be 3 Christians who will tell me aliens don't exist and Jesus is the only God so they wont answer the hypothetical, and then I'll get an email asking me "oh you seem you are searching how can i help")

I am receptive to everything, I may need a bit of proof and just for grins.....
You seem to be searching, how can I help?

...Or perhaps there is no God, so no God ever comes in the first place; the person thinking God has come down is having an hallucination from being bit on the arm by too many poisonous snakes meant to test their faith and this time it is a very bad trip.
Of course, if there happens to be some sort of God, that would be very interesting and I would be open to any kind of actual evidence for It's existence.
BTW, are you trying to imply God is an alien? BLASPHEMY!!

Im extremely reciptive to new ideas, since I am fuly aware that I know nothing about the world around me for certain. Popular thought changes all too often so why should I be stuck in the ground that "old" science and "old" faith provided.
It is an interesting position though, because you are left with no real convictions in life but the most basic ones.

Hehe....well, benevolent aliens/god/whatever, I'd have a hard time accepting and worshipping someone/thing that just appeared out of nowhere. Now if this god/alien thing was all about going around healing babies and stopping wars peacefully, and didn't harp on "why don't you worship me"....then I might consider it =)

i'm an atheist, but if a god did come down, i would first be skeptical, but if there was real proof i guess i might convert.

and you know that christians aren't going to answer this. they'll only quote scripture about false prophets and tell you that aliens don't exist.

If the aliens came, then they would be a creation of God. God may of created other planets and other life forms too. We don't know.

No one knows whether aliens exist so it's pretty silly to say that they know they don't. As for the God thing. I'd say "So Christians have been deluded for thousands of years. Huh, imgaine that." And God is most definately a woman in my scenerio. ;)

Yes, I am receptive to new ideas, but to tell you the truth. There ain't nothin' in the world that hasn't been done before!

Methinks the word Christian is a crutch.

hehe, good hunch... the other christians will quote you a passage about false prophets, and would claim to stick to their beliefs

did you ever see that star trek where these aliens came and fooled a planet into thinking they were "god"..

i would definetly be receptive to contemplating it.. but i dont believe everything i see...

If anyone is they should check out "Conversation with God" as these books present a new idea about who and what God is. A sensible new idea, I might add.
