The best price I have found for heartworm/flea control is from
http://wwwpetsuppliesnet.com
They are less expensive than 1800petmeds, Petco, Foster & Smith, etc.

If you're too broke to afford flea and tick medication, then you're probably too broke to bring your animals to a vet if they get sick or injured. This is bad news for you and your animals. Either get rid of some of your animals, or give up some creature comforts like the internet!
Cheap flea and tick medications are cheap for a reason. Shampoos will just kill everything on the pet, not keep the pet from getting more.
And no, there's no way to but Frontline Plus (or any other good medication) in bulk for any less than what you'd pay from a pet store or your vet.

I would first try talking to your vet about your situation and finances. Hopefully you have vet. who cares more about taking good care of the animals then making money! If you do, count your Blessings! LOL Anyways, otherwise I would try l800petmeds.com and they have all kinds of different flea meds, that work on ticks, and come in bulk sizes. I think you can do way better on there for Frontline Plus than that price!!!!!! Good luck! Hope you feel better too, just remember, unless you live in a warm seasoned climate year-round then your seasons will be changing soon and not to worry so much about fleas, ticks when it gets ccccold!!!! Good luck!

try to work out something with your vet, that's what I did when it comes to heartworm pills, I get a reduced price for buying more than 2 packs at a time, we have 4 dogs and two cats. As for the flea and tic stuff, I just use the kind from wal mart, keep them bathed with the shampoo and we do really well. Summer cuts REALLY help keep the pests off them.We live way out in the boonies too.Good luck!!

Have you tried 1.800.pet.meds? Not sure if it's any cheaper, but it's worth a shot. I know that stuff can be really expensive. How about keeping the cats indoors? We do, and it saves a lot of $$$, plus it's safer all around for the cats.
