actually there has been recent research that shows that it is toxic to dogs, as are raisins.

It is probably okay to feed a few grapes but t be absolutely safe, I wouldn't.

grapes, raisins, onions (and garlic to a lesser degree), chocolate, coffee, are all toxic to dogs (i think I'm missing a couple, but that's all off the top of me head)

I heard it was raisins were toxic due to the high iron content....it can kill a dog if it eats too many of them. There are incidences of Jack Russell Terriers eating a whole box of raisins and dying of iron overdose.....grapes are what raisins come from....

They are not bad for them - they are DEADLY! Never, ever feed your dog grapes or raisins!

Too much of anything can be bad and cause an upset tummy. Like all fruit, it's sprayed with fertilizer and they should be washed or peeled. If in doubt about anything, call your vet or animal poison control
