if a friend has the hiccups this works but only ONCE:
tell them this in a quiet serious tone:
" you know (insert name here), you said something earlier that really offended me."
Their brain goes into overdrive and the hiccups go away immediately.

When you have the hiccups, hold your breath and push it down towards your diaphragm. It'll help stop it spasming.

Seriously...Have someone ask you what your middle name is...then you say your middle name...in a few seconds your hiccups will be gone...works for me everytime

i either hold my breath for as long as poss or try drinking from a pint glass try drinkin water though,and try swallowing it in one go, feels like you swallow them but it works,, good luck

i always hold my breath for 30seconds and that works well!! specially if i walk and hold my breath lol!
or have a drink!!
