I know what you mean... I've been thinking about this too :) maybe because your not sure what the other person is thinking and what the reaction could be... maybe because in doing so we humble ourselves, being so open and honest, fragile with another person.

Usually because you aren't sure if the other person reciprocates those feelings, and you're afraid you might come across too strongly. In a way you're throwing away your armor and putting yourself in a vulnerable position. But sometimes you just have to bite the bullet and do it.

God knows I love my man, bt it is hard for me to say I love him in his face, I can text message it, write it in a letter, but in front of him, when he asks if i love him, i always say "You know I love you!" but I can never just say it first. You know what? I am going to work on that, cause you have made me think deeply about this. He might think I dont love him because I dont say it. I show it, but he needs to hear it. Well you are taking a leap of faith. Those three words mean a world of difference to different people. They are very serious words that could make or brake a relationship. They should't be spoken lightely.
