Any phone number can be a fax number. Just connect a fax machine to your phone line. Most businesses have a separate phone number that is used only for fax messages so the line is not busy because someone is talking on the phone.

That said, you really don't need a fax machine. Just have people attach the document to their emails to you. Print it out. If you need to sign and get the document back to the person who sent it you will need a scanner (you can buy one for less than $100) to create a file, attach that file to an email and send the email.

Problem solved.
