Goat cheese is as varied as the other cheeses...You can even find a GOUDA made out of goats milk and it is absolutely delicious. A solid soft flavoured cheese, similar to normal gouda, but with a softer slightly different flavour...

The roll or "bûche" is a soft cheese (great in slices on pizza, it melts beautifully). It is smooth and creamy on the palate.

Some have the texture of a crumbly blue cheese, without the blue part. Some are very tangy, some very smooth...

Both the french and spanish have a great assortment of goats milk cheeses. The varieties are too many to list here...

Go to a cheese specialty shop, and see what they have to offer.

I had goat cheese with chicken recently and it reminded me of cream cheese, both in taste and texture. The flavor was not strong by any means like feta or something similar is.

Usually stronger than cow cheese. But just like with cow cheese, you can make different cheeses that will tast different. For example: cheddar, feta, blue cheese, cream cheese, swiss cheese, etc...
Taste it. It's the best way to know what it tastes like.
Oh and, feta is traditionnally made with ewe's milk, not goats like redcar_racer said (altough now you can buy it in stores made either from ewe's, cow's, or goat's milk)

There are probably over 30 different types from around the world and they all taste different. Feta and Halloumi are goat cheeses and they are completely different in taste and texture.

I think it is called Feta. It is a very strong taste. Short of like blue cheese, but stronger.
