It means DON'T BUY IT!!!!!

A title is branded if it has been:
salvaged
junked
rebuilt
reconstructed
in a flood
in a fire
odometer tampered with
manufacter buyback (lemon law)

etc........

In other words it has diminished or no value. Unless it is REAL cheap and/or has been inspected & repaired by a qualified & reputable shop......I wouldn't buy it.

But I am not you.

A "title brand" is an official record of an occurrence of damage or other information about the vehicle that could affect its value or the ability to operate it safely.

Different brands mean different things. For instance, if your vehicle is branded "Former Taxi", it means it was operated as a taxicab at some point in its life. This may not be important to you. If, however, it is branded "Salvage" or "Rebuilt", it means the car had significant damage at some point and has been repaired. In this case, the vehicle's true value may be lower than expected or the safety of the vehicle may be in question.

The absolutely free reverse vin check sites generally provide fake information. To get real information, money will have to be paid. The free searches provide fake information so they can get your email address to send spam.

Stay away from shady reverse vin check sites, most likely you won't get any information after you make the payment. Not to mention you won't get a report and you won't get an answer if you try to call for a refund. Stick with a reputable reverse vin check site like http://www.reversevincheck.net that has been around since 1995.
