It's like a pony tail, except it has a hole in the middle, where I'm assuming I put my ponty tail, and the hair is attached all around the perimeter. I've tried using an elastic hair band, but it seems to move too much. I'm trying to use it on top of my head, not in the back. Any suggestions?

There are many different ways to go about this situation.

-Hairband (only if theres is short hairs in the front)

-1 1/2" Hair clips(2 of these should hold hairs on bottom and top

-Hair scarf (looks cute and is thick to trap pesky hairs)
~Styling Tips~

*After you get out of the shower and before you blow dry your hair, use a mouse to make your hair more managable after its dryed* (Herbal Esences, Citrus Mousse, $3.95, drug stores)

* After styling hair into pony tail with clips, hairbands, wraps, ect put a soft hold hairspray in, make sure its one that holds well but doesn't look like hairspray when its in your hair.
(Herbal Escences, Light Hold Spray, $3.95, drug stores)

Good luck and happy styling!

How about bobby pins in a color close to your own? Or pretty barrettes? Or put the extra pony tail on top of yours, put a hair elastic around the whole thing, then maybe a ribbon? That way you cover up the area where the two sections of hair meet.

Tease it in with your natural hair and smooth the top layer, also bobby pins.

What you need to do with those is make a bun and then but the piece around that.

Peace!
