What is the most expencive habit, is it smoking, drinking, or eating. Two of the three we all can do without but one of them is a matter of life and death.

Seeing as food is a life and death matter and EVERYBODY does it, I would say that eating is the most expensive habit of all 3 since it applies to everyone and not just a few who do it. But drinking is more expensive and smoking goes nicely with that. In fact, nothing beats a pizza, some beer and having a smokey treat afterwards. (wow, do I miss that!)

Smoking

Eating is the most expensive, followed by drinking. Smoking is the least expensive.

All of those are considered life or death. If you don't eat, your body will only last a very short period of time before it stops functioning. If you don't drink (at least water, not necessarily alcohol), you will die of dehydration which will occur days quicker than if you don't eat. If you smoke, it will take a very long time to die from it compared to the deprivation of the other two.

It all depends on how much you drink or smoke. But if you go out every wknd. like I use to, I would have to say drinking takes the top. Eating was hardly in the picture. I would spend up to $40 - $50 in one night. Now cartons of cigarettes are that much but I would still have some left the next day.

Obviously if you are going to include eating as a habit, it would be that.
But a habit is something you can do without so eating wouldn't be included.
So, smoking is my answer. I don't know anybody who drinks enough to spend as much as people do on smoking every day.

hmmm. this is a tough one.
smoking cigarettes cost alot cause uve got to keep buying. if u get severley addicted you could be smoking a few packs each day.

some beers are expensive, but if u r bingeing beer u usually dont ge for the fine wines.

eating must cost alot over ur lifetime cause U HAVE GOT TO KEEP EATING. and like u said, its a matter of life and death.

this is not a crazy question. its cool, cause it got me thinking.

Depends on how much you smoke or drink, how much you do it depends on how addicted you are. And if you're really addicted it depends where it is you live. Cigarretes are like $6.30 where I live. That's not cheap. I'd say smoker. Interesting question though!
