They knock every now and again - actually the lady is very nice and she obviously keeps paying me a call (maybe twice a year) because I show an interested response - even though I don't agree with most of her ideas. But I do understand that it's absolutely a way of life for them - and their role in life is to bear witness to God as they see him/her. I don't think we need to be afraid of them - or shut their foot in the door! We should be tolerant of other's faiths.

Yes. Otherwise our numbers would be next to nil.

PS In regard to the person(s) who suggested coming to the door naked.

While this suggestion may seem humorous, it is not applicable in the real world. If some man exposed himself to my niece I would be obligated to contact the authorities. In this day and age one can never be too careful. Pedophilia is no joking matter.

I try to be polite, but firmly tell them No Thanks.
Do not feel guilty they have no right coming to your home invading your privacy without an invitation.
In fact consider IF you do not know them don't answer the door. I believe the same with the phone.

the BIBLE says don't tell them GODS SPEED. in other words don't say God bless you or have a good day. just tell them I AM NOT interested. I have my own belief. I have my own church or pastor if I need to talk. and say "NO THANK YOU" and shut the door. They are an accult,(they take all deity from Christ) they don't believe he came already and they don't believe the Christians are going to heaven, only 144,000 but the Bible says those 144,000 are going to be here to preach to the ones who missed the rapture (calling away) to give them the chance to go to Heaven too.I have had as many as 15 come at once because they couldn't CONVERT me so I finally just told them "I AM NOT CHANGING MY BELIEF AND ASK THEM CAN YOUR WAYS OFFER ME ANY MORE OF CHRIST THAN WHAT I HAVE NOW ?IF NOT JUST GO AND TAKE YOUR LITTLE BOOKS WITH YOU AND NO,I AM NOT BUYING ANY THING FROM YOU. They feel they have to EARN their way to GOD by selling the books. Why don't they talk to the folks out on the streets and with out any church or beliefs instead of trying to STEAL the flock of another sheppherd.

Don't feel guilty, knocking every day is just outrageous. Get a blood and organ donor card and stick it in your front window and they won't come back.
They have re-written the Bible to suit themselves. They attract gullible people and control every aspect of their lives. They used to have a bad habit of predicting the second coming, then having to backtrack when it didn't happen.

Easy to deal with...

Ask them for THEIR address so you can go and knock on THEIR door without invitation at an inconvenient moment to discuss religion :) And don't let them fob you off or discuss any other topic. They have your home address after all... its only fair... Why shouldn't it be you and not them who decide the timing if the interruption to home life?

You will be surprised how fast they leave.

I stopped paying them any attention after thay gave me a pamphlet. I read it and seriously, it read like a Nazi propaganda paper from the 1930s. These people are seriously deranged.

No! I shut the door in their faces! They don't allow blood transfusions, even to save a child. It's fair enough if you're an adult and able to make your own decisions, but to let children die because of your religious beliefs is in my eyes one of the worst things you can do!
Don't feel guilty...they can be very persuasive, and you must follow your heart.........if in doubt, DON'T!

No I don't like having ideas forced on me. No one hasthe right to say their way is the right way and theri God the only God. The worldis made up of individuals and they should thank God for that.
