How they learn, proper way to teach them, etc... My children are bilingual (Arabic being their first language and English their second). My 5 year old can write the alphabet in both languages and is starting to read in both languages but I still can't get them to talk in English!!!(I talk in English and they answer me in Arabic) Does anyone have any suggestions of what to do or a good book or website to read?

im a billingual child.. pretend u don't understand arabic and act confused when they speak arabic. repeat yourself in english and say, in english please. if they want something, don't give it to them until that ask in english. it should make thenm change, quick, because children hate being misundrestood or ingored so they will do anything to get a response from you.
