The first thing that someone should be considering is whether the idea of sin is actually real.

If God is supposed to be perfect how could She have made anything or anyone that wasn't perfect.
Think about it. The idea of sin assumes certain things about God that seem highly unlikely.

First it assumes a God who is too incompetent to organize a simple educational field excursion and figure out a way to get all of the students home safely.

How likely is this that God would not be smart enough to come up with a plan for our salvation that is going to work?

It also assumes that God must have created us imperfect if we are sinners.

One might assume that God would be able to create someone perfect each and every time if he chose to. Assuming God is capable of this, then it follows logically that we must be perfect creations if we are actually creations of this perfect God.

Unless of course you are saying that God chose to create us imperfect.

If God created us imperfect then anything that may go wrong is Gods fault, not ours. This seems a bit illogical at best so I think that we need to assume that What God creates would have to be perfect.

If this is the case and Gods creations are perfect, then nothing that we can do could change what God created perfect and make it imperfect unless we think that we are more powerful than God is.

How likely is it that we the creation could be more powerful than the creator. I personally find this idea somewhat amusing, and a bit absurd.

Religion tells us that God is perfect. If this is true then it could hardly be logically for Gods creations to be considered to be anything less than perfect.

If this is the case then Nothing that we can ever do could possibly change this perfection that God willed, unless we were so powerful that our choices could override and change the will of God.

How likely is that????

Think about it.

The idea of sin is simple nonsense; a lie made up about God by religion.

I understand your question, but unsure of the comment following. So I am going to answer this based off of what I think you are meaning.

Jesus paid our sin debt to God. In the old testament, people were commanded to sacrifice a lamb that was "perfect and without blemish" in attonement for their sins. In the book of Exodus it talks the passover which is where all the firstborn males were killed in Egypt. The only way to be spared of this death was to put the blood of a lamb, "without blemish, a male of the first year" (Exodus 12:5) and put it on the door posts for the angel to see. So, in the new testament, Jesus, God's Son, became the perfect sacrifice, without blemish to attone the sins for the entire world. Past, present and future.
Now for the why. He did this to provide a way for us to be able to regain fellowship with God. To give us the opportunity to enter heaven. And He did it, because God loves us.

God did not create us this way. Adam and Eve fell into sin after eating of the fruit from the tree in the garden of eden. When God created us, He created us in His own image. He created us perfect. Read the book of Genesis. The first three chapters should clarify that comment for you.

First, your premise of the creator created us "this way" is incorrect if you believe "this way" means sinful, evil, etc etc.

God created us to be free creatures; we can choose to listen to the creator and live as only he knows best or we can choose to go it on our own.

The very fact that you don't want to accept that someone knows best for you is one proof of our sin nature-we want to run from God.

Who did Jesus pay? The first answer is no one knows for sure. Any Christian who claims to know is dillusional or a liar. God has not revealed everything to us- we couldn't not understand everything even if he did. That's not a copout it's reality. Jesus paid Justice; that's who he paid. When a law if broken, there is a price to pay. That's called Justice. When someone else pays the price I should pay; that is called Mercy.

So, Justice and Mercy are both satisfied in Jesus Christ.

Because initially God had given humankind laws to live by and had made a covenant with us.

Our having failed to abide, God made a new covenant in Christ so that we may be saved.

We all owed a debt to God because of our sin, and because all of us sin, no one among us could pay the debt. God sent his Son, who was without sin, to pay the debt for us.

While God created us this way knowingly, he did give us the chance to abide by his law on our own. Because this was impossible, he sent the law in the flesh to redeem us.

Let me tell u this. Jesus is the son of God. Now God was alive in the beginning. He sent down Jesus so everyone could be christians. But then everything went wrong. He died for everybody even though he wasn't meant 2 die! He did EVERYTHING right but the world killed him. They betrayed him. That's y.

I know this is really compicated.

.Jesus spent a week being tortured and hanging on a cross.
Then he got to be resurrected and ascend into Heaven and enjoy himself comfortably.
Other people have been tortured worse and for longer time and then they have to burn in Hell for eternity. This is a much worse fate. Jesus got off easy. If he was really paying for our sins he would be burning in Hell right now. He condemns millions of people each year to a much worse fate than he suffered.

God created us with minds to reason and the ability to make our own decisions. Every person determines their own fate, through their individual actions.

As to your first question, I would guess that when Jesus prayed, he prayed to his Father, which was really just another aspect of Himself, so it would be more like an internal monologue, if you were in the mood to equate things. He prayed because he felt sorry for the path humanity's decisions had led them down.

oops, you said "pay" not "pray." my mistake.

No, God created us to be perfect and we are the ones that have messed it up and God knew that we would mess everything up..that is why Jesus came to die. He paid the ultimate price for our salvation and for our healing...then three days later He rose from the dead. The Bible says that without the shedding of blood, there is no remission of sin. Jesus came so that you could live with Him forever. If you believe inj your heart that Jesus came, was born of the virgin Mary, was crucified and rose from the dead, and you confess this with your mouth..you shall be saved (from this world of sin..to be with God forever).

I know this isn't going to make sense, but it cannot be explained by human reasoning. Jesus paid God, the Father, for our sins. Jesus, who is the Son of God is also One with God, and is indeed God.
