No Islam is NOT the latest religion. Islam is the arabic word meaning "Submission to the will of God". Submission in this context means accepting all the commandments of God.

Coming back to our question, Islam is the EARLIEST religion. From Adam to Moses to Jesus to Mohammed, they all preached the same religion: which is accepting all the commandments of God.

Why scholars don't recommend it is because before the arabs accepted Islam, the people which we call "Jews and Christians" gave a name to Islam instead of calling it in their own native language. Hence, they called their religion Judaism and Christianity. The arabs do not call that same religion by some other name. They call it by its proper name in their arabic language.

These scholars do recommend Islam, but not in the shape it was initially sent down to them. Rivalry and politics played a great role in the shaping of Judaism, Christianity and Islam which we all attribute to the Arabs, Indians, Pakistani and Malaysians. They are at their core the same. The main differences being a question of how each scholars from each side explained some of the concepts of God's guidance to mankind.

For example Arabs muslims are not the only ones who reject Jesus as the son of God ( the core foundation of Christiany which is very very debatable even among those who proclaim they follow Jesus)...The Jews reject the same idea. It is a blasphemy for them.

This is a very lenghhy issue. I would suggest to you that you do some research. I hope I have been able to help a little bit.

Yes could agree to that if you're talking about orthodox religions. It's the last religion for mankind

cos scholars/prophets don't guarantee you a better life after death nor did they knew what life they'll be having.it's just assumptions after assumptions though they be a learned lot as seen by society

Did Jesus or muhamad or the rest of the prophets go to school in their days?
so why are we following their religions. Are'nt we the real jerks?

Wake up bro,
what we are following is the truthness or righteneous of what's been said based on our true senses and we're not being forced to believe in anything.
Sometimes, little children do speak logically-kinda of weird is'nt it?
so don't label or discriminate based on popularity
watch & listen what's been said as not to be a blind follower or believer

what scholars?

islam is not a religion. for those who accept it/follow it they think it as a code of conduct. they beleive that there is advice how to go about in almost all situations of daily life.

there is no sunday mass and then do what ever you like. its difficult because they have to live according to it 24/7.

depends who you ask muslim scholars will be more than happy to recommend it, christian scholars will ask you to join christianity.

All contemporary religious dogma has failed all of humanity.

All contemporary religious dogma is divisive and a blight on
the human family.

Seek the spark of light that is within you, not contemporary
religious dogma.

Have fun but be safe.
