You can definately reverse the damage and improve your health by doing a full body detox twice a year. There are alot of options for cleansing from fasting and juice fasting to supplemental cleanses found at health food stores. I would suggest the Wild Rose herbal detox system if you can buy it where you live. Look online too you may find a site that you can order it from. It is a 12 day cleanse with a meal plan included. It will help give you back energy and help to detoxify your organs. Good luck

You are probably addicted to what you eat and drink so go slowly try to change your lifestyle by getting other interests on the nights you drink say a gym twice a week replace beer with water junk food with fruit etc.be very careful not to go straight to the pub after you have been to the gym of course you can change at any age what are you in your 50's yeh go have a drink but gradually withdraw from that scene and you will wonder what all the fuss was about

I suppose it's never too late! There is plenty of dietry advice to be found on the internet if you are really serious. Get out in the fresh air everyday for a brisk 20/30 minute walk. Eat porridge for breakfast, eat lots of fresh fruit and vegetables, try juicing them if you can't bear to eat them at first. Drink at least two litres of fresh water every day. After two weeks or so eating real food, you will lose the taste for the junk!! You will feel and look GREAT!! Good Luck.

First, Stop drinking alcohol and junk food. For a week to ten days drink only green herbal tea (lots of antioxidants) or water. At least half of your fluids should be green tea. Eat in moderation--lots of fruits, nut and vegetables.
Reduce carbs for that week, and nothing with trans fats, and reduce saturated fats. After the "flush" drink a glass of cranberry juice a day to help kidneys clean themselves. And it doesn't hurt to have green tea 2 or 3 times a week also. No telling if damage is permanent until you start to live clean.

never too late...but don't look for a quick fix. Detox is good thing to do maybe once a year for no more than a week (and ask a doctor before doing it), but you'll have to be very strict with yourself about what you are putting in your body for a year or so before you can re-introduce the junk food and beer again (only this time in moderation)...

Oh, you are a prime candidate for Doug Kaufmann!! If you have a satellite, go to the HEALTH channel, or the MEN"S channel, and see what he has to say! You CAN clean out your body and be healthy again!
It is yeast that is messing you up.
He has a diet that will kill the yeast and their toxins. NO it is not an infomercial. It is just him, trying to help people. Very sincere, and very helpful. It will make all the difference in your life.

Its never too late, but you shouldn't have waited 30 years to clean out!!
Drink lots and lots of water and eat lots of fruit and veg, minimise the fat in your diet and excercise, it will help get the toxins out quicker and clear out your lymphatic system.
