The Pope is the head of the Catholic church. Catholics are Christians but not all Christians are Catholic.
I respect the Pope as a religious leader but I do not follow him because I no longer believe in the Catholic religion. The Pope (and the church) are against birth control and I do not believe in that. There are many other examples too, but this is the first one I thought of.

Catholic Christians do. Protestent Christians don't. Luther broke away from the Catholic Church in the 1500's and started the Protestant movement which was a protest (hence Protestant) against the alleged corruption in the Catholic Church at that time. He especially rejected the idea of following the Pope, who he felt was not a true spiritual authority.

Jesus clearly appointed the pope as the earthly leader and chief pastor of the only church that he ever founded.
Some Christians understand and accept this, and some don't.
Interestingly enough, nearly all Christians agree that St. Peter is the gatekeeper of heaven.
I wonder how quick he'll be to open the "Pearly Gates" for those who deny his God-given authority as Pope?

No. only Roman Catholics. Many Roman catholics do not follow the pope due to his treatment of women in the church. The Catholics has been shown to be rules and run by a bunch of small time dispots, pervetrts and woman hating preists.

Catholics, and some other groups follow the Pope, the Vicar of Christ. Papal authority is very real. Peter was the first bishop of rome, the title Pope was added in the 2nd century.
Peter had direct authority over the church, was given keys to the kingdom of heaven, and was the clear leader of the disciples. The leadership position was passed to others.
Thank you Lord Jesus Christ for your grace and your Pope on earth.

More Christians follow the pope than realize it.
Did you know that if you keep Sunday as the Sabbath... you are following the Catholic churches edict?
Study your history.. especially around the time of Constantine....
How Sunday became the day of Worship.....
I found the specific reference in the "Convert's Catechism of Catholic Doctrine".
Q & A's on the commandments..... (the one they call the third )
