This can be for a number of different reasons.
Diet plays a major role in child behaviour. If the child eats a lot of sugar, processed foods, things with addatives and preservatives, premade foods such as things from a can, jar or box, and of coarse junkfood; then they will be hyperactive. If a child has homemade foods, things with little or no sugar and no addatives or preservatives they are likely to be more calm.
Interaction can also play a part in a childs hyperactivity (or lack there of). If the child has a lot of interaction with others (kids and/or adults) then they will use their energy there and when its quiet time they will play quietly, and calmly alone. If a child doesn't recieve enough attention then they will act out to get the attention they are craving. Another thing is sleep, if a child is over tired they will act very hyper, be sure that the child is getting the proper amount of sleep day and night.
Hope this answers you question!

I think you need to stay away from kids. Growing up i didint have patience for them either, and quite frankly I can only stand my own kid. All those other little **** heads that I come across at the playground just drive me crazy. I totally understand you. Don't babysit or go near them, and when people come over to visit ask them to leave their kids at home with a sitter as your "blood pressure" can't handle it.... or you have a "headache". Excuses always work for relative kids that drive you nuts too!!!

Only men who love children and who are willing to take the time to train and care for their children properly should be fathers. Anyone can be a sperm donor but it takes a REAL man to be a good father. So don't worry, if the little ones are getting on your nerves, just be sure and tell the mom "Hey, the kids are behaving badly! Someone should take the time to train them to be nice."

Let see...
~breakfast~ a bowl of Fruity Pebbles maybe Fruit Loops...followed with some juice = Sugar If there still hungry maybe another bowl of Loops = sugar x's 2
~lunch~ soda or sometime type of kool-aide juice pack
Sandwich, chips and a sweet dessert = more sugar
~midday~ snack "oh, yummy mom packed Oreo's".= sugar
~ dinner~ pizza (no salad...to full for that, but hungry enough to have 2 more pieces of pizza....Of course)
dessert while watching rental movie...cotton candy, ice cream and a couple of gummy worms after the movie while heading off to bed = sugar!
Laying there for hours because he's so whacked out on sugar that he can't sleep, now starting to jump up and down on his bed from lack of sleep and utter boredom!

Come on parents...start feedin' yer kids right!

I thought you had 4 kids...I must be confused. Its the whole bottled energey theory, you know, where children havent developed a bottle cap yet so they have all this energy burning, after puberty they grow a bottle cap and the energy is capped and all they do is sleep all day.

They need to get out from in front of the TV and video games and go outside to play. Keep a good eye, too many FREAKS out there.

Too little parenting... in some cases (like my boyfriends son) but in most cases because they have all that energy bundled up in their little bodies that we wish we had as grown adults. THATS why it pisses us off so much! We're just jealous and wish we could go that strong all day long!!! Ü

Well its just because they are young and full of energy.
And they always want to do things on hyper mood.

why? do u hate kids?

Because adults are weaker and this makes them easily tired, while kids are bundles of energy

Also, sugar and soda. Also known as DEMONIC POISON

Many of them are hyper because they consume too much sugar!
