Don't know about eggs and cheese. As far as I'm aware, its ok.

Just make sure you never give it anything sugary like chocolate or Jam, this could be serious if you do in large quantities.

The dog will be fine. And will think you are the greatest person in the world! =) Cooked eggs or raw eggs are good for a dog and I think should be part of their regular diet. Not on a daily basis, but once a week or so. Cheese is a processed food and a bit now and then is ok but not something that should be fed very often.

Outside of some gas from the sulfur found in eggs and the dairy in the cheese, the pooch is probably mucho thrilled to have you around.

Goddess Bless!

Generally speaking a little egg and cheese once a week will not harm the dog, but don't over do it. And keep in mind that if you're frying the eggs the stuff you fry it in can be bad for the dog (giving it diarrhea), so be careful.

And why are you cooking food you don't want to eat? How wasteful is that?

While cheese and eggs are both good sources of protein and foods that most dogs love like crazy be very sparing with them both. Cheese is usually loaded with sodium plus it's a milk product. Contrary to popular belief that it's a "binder", in animals (especially small ones) who aren't accustomed to foods containing lactose, milk products can cause diarrhea.

As far as eggs go, whole eggs (yolk and whites) or just yolks are a tasty and healthy treat on occasion. NEVER feed your dog pure egg whites. They contain high contents of albumin which are nearly impossible for a dog to digest. Not only do they cause diarrhea in dogs but they can even cause ulceration in the digestive tract and stomach.

As long as she is not being overfed, she will be fine. My dog loves eggs and cheese. The only thing I have to watch is portions. She is a small dog and if she eats too much of it, that will be all she will eat that day and that would not give her all the proper nutrients. But on occasion, once a week or so, who cares, dogs like treats too.

It's not cruelty to feed animals table scraps. Eggs are actually pretty good for dogs. It is just not a good idea to feed them human food on a regular basis. Your bf may not want his dog eating table scraps. You are going against his wishes and disrespecting him, more than you are harming his dog. I would just keep it to a minimum. Cheese is binding....you know? Peace out. Nana

actually eggs are great for a dogs coat. And many vets reccoment wraping pills for dogs in cheese to get them to take it. There are a lot of human foods that are great for dogs, they become bad for them if we give them things that are too fatening, or too much human food. So if the dog eats his normal food the majority of the time a little snack now and then is good for him.

Eggs are good for dogs, but cheddar cheese not so good because they either get the runs, or are constipated. Just try not to be around her rear for a while.........

Goodness no, in fact those are great foods for them. Not too much, of course, but I have an elderly dog who can't keep weight on, so I feed him eggs every morning. It's great for their coat.

well a lot of people do that. Most people who only est egg whites, feed the yolk to their pets...its makes their coat extra shiny. I think the cheese is alright, as long as you don't feed him an excessive amount to the animal....
