The best time to breed is when you learn the difference between spay and neuter, when she is 2 years old, when you are active in a breed club, when you have a dog that is an outstanding example of the standard, when you title your dog, have her tested for all genetic and hereditary issues, when you have the knowledge it takes to breed, and when you are fully prepared for what expenses you may incur as a result of pregnancy and birth. This breed has a high rate of C-Section, so you need to be prepared for the possibility of losing your female and her litter. Until you do all of those things, you aren't ready to breed.

Female dogs get Spayed males get Neutered. You should not breed your dog till you are sure your dog has no health issues such as are the dogs eyes certified, are the hips certified at least good. and all the other health issues that go into knowing before you breed. If not your dog male and female can pass on heath problems to the puppies. You do not even know the difference between spay and neuter. How can you breed the best puppies its not a game.

You can breed her when she is two years old. My mother in law bred Pekingneses and I have one of the puppies. I think you should skip the breeding and get her spayed. Pekingnese dogs do not make good pets for people with children and once they accept a person as theyre master they cannot be adopted out without retraining.(expensive)

I have to say, it really sounds like she needs to be spayed now.
You really don't want to breed before they are at LEAST two.
Most wonderful pets need to not be bred, just because they are a great pet doesn't mean they should have puppies.
