Ok there's this guy in my class (8th rade) and I don't know him 2 well. I've only known him for like, 2 weeks, and I haven't talked to him alot. But everytime I look in his direction, I always catch him staring at me and then when he sees me looking, he looks away. Some of his friends keep telling me that he likes me. And a few girls in my class keep telling me I should ask him out. THey say he is too shy to make the first move. But then at our school dnace he didn't ask me to dance. I dont know, do you think he really likes me, or if he's just messing around?

Yes, I think that he likes you. When he is looking at you, he lets his eyes linger on your body and then looks away, hoping that you haven't noticed. And if his friends say that he likes you,believe them. For example, once these guys told me that this man likes me and at first I didn't believe them...but it turned out to be true. So take their word, they are his friends.
If he is shy, that is probably the reason he didn't ask you to dance (sorry!). What can you do?I think that you should ask him out on a date and get to know him better.
