You have to go to the beauty store and get a color with a red base to counteract the green.....Get a light red brown...Or a brown with a red base..Preferably a semi or demi permanent....

You probably used an ash color and that created the green shade. That said, you need to color with a good hair color. I suggest Garnier Nutrisse cream hair color. Even the ash colors do not turn green with this. Also, stay away from henna and herbal hair colors as these could cause for hair to go green.

Usually a green cast means hair was over-porous or so fine that it grabbed too much of an ash (green-based) color. You must neutralize the green with the color that is opposite it on the color wheel, i.e., red neutralizes green and vice versa. Your stylist will choose a different shade with a red or red-orange base. The new color should be at the same level as the existing color. http://www.sallybeauty.com/content/faqs/showquestion.asp?faq=8&fldAuto=568

NEXXUS ALOE RID shampoo & treatment. It I liked it and took my weird grayish color out when I dyed my hair an ash color. You could also use some dish soap until you can get to the store it strips some of the color out .
Here is what the bottle says
Used in conjunction with Aloe Rid Treatment, the adverse effects of chemical buildup and chlorine green are chelated and removed from the internal and external structure of the hair.

I would have to suggest going to a hair salon. If you tried to color your hair by yourself and it turned green it is going to take alot of work to correct the problem. Need a good hair stylist let me know.

You need a cleansing shampoo. Something that will get rid of the buildup in your hair. It takes time, but a couple of washing with a clarity shampoo should do the trick.
