The three religions, Jewism, Christianity, and Islam all have the same god. All three all call it different things, but it's the same thing. It starts with Jews who do not believe in Jesus, so basically just believe in the old testament. Christians do believe in Jesus was the son of God, and all the things that Jews believe. Muslims believe that Jesus was just a prophet, and all the other things are the same as Christianity. Adding to that they believe in the main prophet, Mohammad.

The God is the same, but they believe slightly different things.

Yes, this is correct. As someone else mentioned, some don't like to hear it and refuse to believe it, however no one can tell me who I worship, lol! I believe that those who refuse to accept it are those who are weak in their own faiths, and to hear that their Lord passed His word to another people makes them feel insecure. It should just make them work harder at being the good believer their religion tells them to be, imho. I've met a few Christians who even go as far as studying the Quran and one lady wrote a book on the Quran and Genisis in an effort to bridge gaps between Muslims and Christians.
Anyways, back to your question, we worship the God of Adam, Abraham, Noah, Moses, Jesus, Isaac and Ishmael, and anyone else you want to include in here. We believe in the Old Testament and the New. We do, however, believe that over time it has been changed bit by bit with interpretations and translations and is no longer in the pure form it was revealed in. It's difficult to point out exactly what was changed and what was not, so basically if it agrees with God and logic, we are more trusting of it.

Hope this helps and I'm glad you asked. It's so much better than walking around in the dark, and if you have any other questions, feel free to ask.

god is god all but in all followings there are diferent veiws about god but i have studied a little bit of the green quran and there are similarities to alot of biblical issues but then again im not sure if the translations ive read are expressing fully what is meant in their language and perhaps some of the translaters have some perverse goal of wrongfullness to make it out like its worse than it is but i do beleive both the bible and the quran have experienced false translaters and this is for both not saying that the original was right or wrong in either book but i do understand the book of job concerning the many versions and claims about god but i would like to get another quran and study further into the language yet from what i have read they are the same god but its not the words that differ so much as the veiws of the followers of each because the books are alot alike but the followers veiws are what differs more than the words but it does take pateints to study and learn it correctly without fighting or doing extreme actions but when you are doing extrem actions then sometimes extreme actions are takin to make sure you receive the correct words with the least violent mannor possible because god is mercifull and would rather that you do what is correct and answer correctly not to a forced answer but with the answer that god guides you to and wheather god gave his answer directly through you or your neigbor it is still given to the people and the people are not another people but one whole body of people

No. I do not think so. I also do not think the Old Test god and the New Test god are the same people for that matter. God is an idea, so it is changed as people and time changes. The Old Test god talked to humans alot, rained fire, frogs and destruction down on them, killed cities full of first borns, the New Test God said, be nice, play well, and you humans convert or kill folks, I am not going to do anything godlike this time around, cause I love you all. The muslim god has some fetishes for women in hoods, and killing people.

3 different ideas warped as people see fit.

I just love how the majority of Christians answer this question!!

Yes, Allah and God are the same!!!! Christians and Jews and Muslims alike who speak Arabic call God Allah.
------Eyes rolling-------
The fact that some Christians claim that they are not the same is really silly. That is like saying that the Jewish Yaweh is not the same God for the same "Jesus (pbuh) reason" as their God.

Yes, sure

we call him (Allah)

but I don't know if you worship God or Jesus ?

1- Jesus wasn't Crucified.
2- Jesus is not the son of God, ( is that what Christians believe ?)
3- Jesus is a messenger and a prophet that was sent by god to people as same as prophet Muhammed peace be upon him.

Yes

The original, unchanged revelations given to Abraham and other prophets(like Moses and Jesus ) reaching back to Adam all came from the One True God(The Creator). This common origin explains their similarities in many beliefs and values

However, over time the teachings of the various religions, due to a variety of reasons, have become distorted and mixed with made-man ideas.

The last Prophet and Messenger of God, Muhammad , who is a direct descendant of Abraham through his first born son, Ishmael, was sent with the Last Guidance, Revelation and Testament, the Holy Qur'an(koran) to amend and correct the changes and corruption made to the the "Torah" which was sent to Moses and theTrue Gospel of Jesus. To say the truth ,God preserved all the other Holy Books plainly by preserving His Last Book the Holy Qur'an(koran)which contains the right and the truth of all that was changed in those other Books.

This is why this last Revelation which was sent 1423 years ago has remained unchanged, not even a word or a letter has been altered.

There is not even one word of difference between two Arabic Qur'ans, anywhere in the world. There has been no disagreements in history among Muslims as to what should and should not be in the Qur'an. However, in the case of the Bible, even the most ancient manuscripts conflict with one another so that no two are identical. Footnotes in all modern versions of the Bible prove this fact.

These revisions serve as concrete proofs that all the Biblical books are not at all divinely inspired. This is because it is beyond man's ability to correct the work of his Creator, who alone is Almighty and perfect

It was only natural for Almighty God to preserve the scripture revealed to Prophet Muhammad, because he was the last Prophet and Final Messenger of God.

Islam teaches us that we must pray directly to God without an intermediary and no soul can bear the burden of another and that the nature of humanity is good, and we did not inherit sin from Adam. Each soul comes into being free of sin.in Islam there are no priests or clergy -- each worshipper, man or woman, has a direct relationship with their Merciful Creator -- Almighty God. Since God is the Owner and Sustainer of everything, as well as the only one who can provide true and complete forgiveness, it is completely futile to try to approach Him through anyone else.

The oneness and universality of God's message requires that people accept all the messengers of God. Rejecting one of them amounts to rejecting them all. The Jews reject Jesus's mission and Muhammad's mission; the Christians reject Muhammad's mission; whereas the Muslims accept them all, but reject incorrect historical interpretations and human elements in these missions.

As the Qur'an is the final revelation and Muhammad is the final prophet, humanity is obligated to accept it: "If anyone desires a religion other than Islam, never will it be accepted of him; and in the Hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost all spiritual good" (3:86).

The Final Prophet Muhammad said: "Whoever believes there is no god but God, alone without partner, that Muhammad is His messenger, that Jesus is messenger of God, and that Paradise and Hell are true, shall be received by God into Heaven."

you can do that now as you are reading these lines is to pronounce the two confirmations and attestations of faith, here it is

I BEAR WITNESS THAT THERE IS NO GOD WORTHY OF WORSHIP EXCEPT ALLAH ( ARABIC WORD MEANS ONE GOD-THE CREATOR). AND I BEAR WITNESS THAT MUHAMMAD IS HIS SERVANT AND MESSENGER. I BEAR WITNESS THAT JESUS IS HIS SERVANT AND MESSENGER.

The right picture of lslam is conveyed in the Qur'an, which is exemplified by Prophet Muhammad peace be upon him. The reality is that it is not fair to judge a religion by the actions of its followers alone because there are good and bad followers in every religion. The correct thing to do is to judge a religion by its documented revelation from God and the prophet who brought that revelation.

I encourage Christians and other religions to learn about Islam from Muslim sources and The Basis Of The Muslim Belief and not rely on second hand information which in many cases is distorted or contains a deep seated anti Muslim agenda. This is indeed a more scholarly approach

Your brother in humanity

Allah and God are the same. But there are a lot of ignorant people who think that they're different. Like Yaweh and God are the same too.

Yes if you're asking a linguistic question. Allah is just the Arabic way of pronouncing God. In Hebrew it would be Yhwh or Yahweh.

Look. Islam is the true religion. You must find it inside your heart deep down. Everyone who doesn't think God is real, astagfurallah, needs to open up their minds and see the truth. Ponder on it for a second, and our existence. Please, you must read the Holy Quran and find out for yourself the truth of it, and must follow it. I hope that everyone sees it. The doubts are from the shaytaan. Please, think deeply, and in shaa Allah, you'll find Islam and believe in the Holy Quran and Allah. wa Jazak Allah kheir. A salaam alaikum wr wb.
