spanish grammar?

Question

Ok I speak decent spanish, but have trouble with future tense or "will "shall" "should" type of translations seem to not exist? How do you say something like "I will fix that later", or "It should have been done (but wasnt...). Its a GRAMAR question, not translation question. What word and verb form is it? Or is it even a verb?

You guys are great so far. I have alot of spansih grammar to learn. I will have to practice it to get the hang of the tense and grammar. Your answers are about where I am at on my own level of Spanish (only been speaking a year, pretty fluently)

Like the Present and Past tenses, Future tense is also divided in four categories:

►Future Indefinite:
I will write (a book)
Yo escribiré (un libro)

Future Continuous:
I will/would be writing.
Yo escribiría.


►Future Perfect:
I would have written.
Yo hubiera (verb haber)sido (verb ser) escrito.

►Future Perfect Continuous:
I would have been writing:
Yo hubiera sido escribiendo.
Note the three verbs used; would have=hubiera,been=sido and writing= escribiendo)

► The verb "to be"in future tense as you know is "will be":
I will be home.
Yo estaré en casa.


You have to now learn the conjugations for different "persons" in future tense. I have used the first person singular i.e. I, in all the cases.

It depends on the sense. The will-future is a tense itself in Spanish (simple future). The "should" thing is an auxiliar verb which is in the conditional tense, the simple conditional form from "deber"

Lo repararé más tarde - I will fix that later (simple future)

Deberías haberlo hecho- You should have done it.

Regular future:
Comeré
Comerás
Comerá
Comeremos

Comerán
(I will...)

Should is a particular word (deber)
Debo comer
Debes comer
Debe comer
Debemos comer
Debeís comer
Deben comer
(I should...)

Would is conditional:
Comería
Comerías
Comería
Comeríamos
Comerían
(I would...)
