A lot of catholics will go to hell. That is a given.
Do you know that the last pope, Pope John Paul II, stole an island from native indian people in North America, for his personal recluse?
Then he never allowed an audience with these Indians because they were not catholic.
Do you think the Pope will go to heaven or hell?
Isn't taking someone's land stealing? Why did he die so suddenly?
Oh maybe my answer will be deleted because i am saying something about the pope.
But the truth is the truth and one day it will come out.
Do you think Mother Teresa was a saint? I think she was a sinner because she converted a lot of poor to christianity saying the christian god was better than the hindu god and using the power of her donations money.
So who do you think will go to heaven?

No.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church states:
Furthermore, many elements of sanctification and of truth are found outside the visible confines of the Catholic Church: "the written Word of God; the life of grace; faith, hope, and charity, with the other interior gifts of the Holy Spirit, as well as visible elements.
Christ's Spirit uses these Churches and ecclesial communities as means of salvation, whose power derives from the fullness of grace and truth that Christ has entrusted to the Catholic Church. All these blessings come from Christ and lead to him.
With love in Christ.

bullcats12,
If that Christian OR Catholic is not covered by the sacrifice of Jesus, he would go to Hell. Some people call themselves Christian, and especially Roman Catholic, that really have no clue what salvation is, sad to say.
It's all about trusting Jesus, you have to trust in Jesus.

I think it's the other way around in most circumstances. Catholics have lost their grip on reality and have stayed so far away from the bible that hope is lost. I don't know, I just think that the word of God is the only way.

No. Whether you go to Heaven does not depend on what religion (or Christian sect for that matter) that you are, but if you accept the Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior from all your sins, and that He died on the cross to save you from your sins.

From the official Catechism of the Catholic Church:
"Outside the Church there is no salvation"
846 How are we to understand this affirmation, often repeated by the Church Fathers?335 Re-formulated positively, it means that all salvation comes from Christ the Head through the Church which is his Body:
Basing itself on Scripture and Tradition, the Council teaches that the Church, a pilgrim now on earth, is necessary for salvation: the one Christ is the mediator and the way of salvation; he is present to us in his body which is the Church. He himself explicitly asserted the necessity of faith and Baptism, and thereby affirmed at the same time the necessity of the Church which men enter through Baptism as through a door. Hence they could not be saved who, knowing that the Catholic Church was founded as necessary by God through Christ, would refuse either to enter it or to remain in it.336
847 This affirmation is not aimed at those who, through no fault of their own, do not know Christ and his Church:
Those who, through no fault of their own, do not know the Gospel of Christ or his Church, but who nevertheless seek God with a sincere heart, and, moved by grace, try in their actions to do his will as they know it through the dictates of their conscience - those too may achieve eternal salvation.337
848 "Although in ways known to himself God can lead those who, through no fault of their own, are ignorant of the Gospel, to that faith without which it is impossible to please him, the Church still has the obligation and also the sacred right to evangelize all men."338

I'm catholic and that is not true at all. There are several protestant faiths that believe if your not in their paticular faith-your going to hell.
A person's religion is the basis for faith. God judges on how you live your life, not on your religion.

John 4:24
"God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth."
It's not about religion... Time is coming when you will worship the father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem... neither in catholic nor in protestant but in truth and in spirit..
