Some people aren't born with perfect hair like you apparently were. We can't just wake up and go with what it looks like. I would rather it be a little damaged than look like hell everyday. :)

Who says that blow drying is bad for your hair? Blow drying causes for the blood to circulate more in your roots and then you will end up with a healthier set of hair. Of course, bear in mind that if you are pulling your hair during styling, that is another story. That said, blow dry your hair, but use a detangler when you brush your hair under the blow dryer.

I for one have to....and my hair isn't damaged either. I have really long thick hair and if I don't blow dry it then it takes hours and hours for it to naturally dry. And working and going to school like I do I just don't have the time for that, especially in the winter.

Does that answer your question?

Because people's lives today are rushed. People need to dry their hair FAST. As you know, hair (especially if it's long and thick like mine) takes a long time to dry naturally. If people need to get places on a schedule, they don't have the time to air dry it.

It is the fastest way to dry your hair, then curl with a electric curling iron...they come in a variety of barrel thicknessess.....depending on the length and look you are going for.
If you have long hair, I would set on rollers, then sit under a hair dryer. The curl holds longer whenever you use rollers !!!!!
Otherwise, natural drying is best especially if you use rollers.
