Jesus did not have to die on the cross, he could have chosen to have ten thousand angel come to protect him, but the final decision was his, he chose to be obedient to god his father, and said never the less thy will be done. because he loved you enough the bear the cross, so you would have a way to god through him.
if you truly honor and respect Jesus then do not let his sacrifice for you go in vain.
he gave his all for you accept him now as your personal savior.
JESUS I THANK YOU THAT YOU LOVED ME ENOUGH TO GIVE YOUR LIFE FOR ME PLEASE COME INTO MY HEART AND BE MY SAVIOR.

I think that if I saw God the Father as some one who send gentle and kind Jesus to his death that I would agree with you in having difficulty in finding something to like in Him. However, Jesus was perfect--he willed what God the Father willed, even when his earthy body caused him not to desire it. (Think about it: have you ever done something you didn't want to do because you knew it was a true good? Maybe visiting a doctor, for example?)
Here's what Jesus said about his suffering and death:
"A woman giving birth to a child has pain because her time has come; but shen her baby is born she forgets the anguish because of her joy that a child is born into the world." John 16:21.
Also, it's good to read what Jesus was saying during his prayers in the Garden of Gethsemane, too about how he comes to will what God the Father wills. God Bless!

Well in the Old Testement they killed animals each year for the sins of the people, and each year they would have to come back and do that process all over again. The animal was not a perfect sacrifice. Jesus knew even then that he would have to come to the earth to die for the sins of the world. Jesus went willingly to the cross. Did you know it wasnt God who sent him to the cross. It was you, me and the rest of earths population. Our sin sent him to the cross. Our sins called for a blood sacrifice and the only prefect sacrifice was the blood of Jesus.

ahmed,
Jesus existed before time. He was called the Word of God. He didn't get born and then God decided to make Him Messiah. He is everlasting. It has to do with prophecies and types and shadows. You know all those Feasts that the Jews celebrate? Those are "Set Times." Things that were and are occuring at some time in history.
God didn't tell the Jews to celebtate them just because He waanted to see them party! He was telling them about something that would happen in some point, some of them have, some of them haven't. But Jesus wasn't a man who just happened to walk on the stage of History.

I feel quite certain Jesus would have rather not been crucified if there had been any other way. It says in the bible he prayed for that cup to be taken from his lips. However it was necessary and by doing so, he made it possible for all of us to enter Heaven through his sacrifice. All you can do is say Thank you Lord for loving me so much you stretched out your arms and died for me. Then try to follow all that he taught while he walked about teaching and preaching.

You do not understand the plan of salvation. Jesus had to die for our sins. He was the only perfect sacrifice available anywhere in the universe at any time and a perfect sacrifice free of sin was necessary. Jesus is risen, though, and because he is risen we have salvation through him. If there had been no crucifixion, then we would all be doomed.

Well, if you knew more about Islam, then you would know that Jesus was lifted up to heaven and there was no crucifixtion. Jesus(pbuh) was a great prophet. He went through trials like any human and in the end was greatly rewarded for that and will InshaAllah come in the end to defeat the dajaal.

He didn't send Him to die. He sent Him to teach. The Romans and Jews sent Him to die on the cross. Even that was turned into a teaching.

That was God's plan to infuse himself into man. God has to go through this process of incarnation,Crucifixion, resurrection,Ascension and then infusing himself into man as Holy Spirit.Without death of Lord Jesus Christ we could never be saved.

Huhm. See, Jesus died for us to save us from our sins. He was willing to give up his life because he LOVED us. And still LOVES us.
For God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him, will not perish, but have eternal life.
