Yes, there was an Ice Age- it provided a land bridge for the early Native Americans to cross over from Russia to Alaska.
I don't see how it could go against the Bible, though. A lot of things aren't mentioned in the Bible but happened anyway!

Of course there was an ice age! We are currently in a warm age and will eventually head into another ice age. The creation story is very far from the truth. If you want to believe that god created everything then fine, just use a little common sense and don't deny that which has overwhelming evidence. The creation theory also says nothing about dinosaurs, but they were here.

If you had asked this in the Science topic area, you'd get very different answers with overwhelming evidence to prove that the ice age existed.
The Bible was created by men of Faith- they believed in a God and wrote what they believed He did. Just because they didn't write about it doesn't mean it didn't happen. They were writing a Path to God- a book of morals, with metaphors and slogans so that the world would stop massacring each other. It's a shame so many greedy people took it word for word and made a profit from it!
The true essence of the Bible isn't what you're told it says- but what it really says to you- for that you must read it, absorb it, find your path in it, but never obsess over every single stanza in it! There are many parabols of how obsession drove someone mad, evil or alone in the world, but still many ignore those and concentrate on the others.
And to make sure you know what it's saying to you, the Bible should be treated like any other written material- check its sources, references and historical fact to see which parts are viable and which are addendums that profited some over others. Critical analyses is what Lit classes teach today- try it out!

Yes, there has been at least 4 major ice ages in the history of the earth. They happen every 40,000 to 100,000 years. Just look at half dome in Yosemite. Half of that mountain was carried away from a glacier. The last time I checked California doesn't have glaciers anymore. The creation theory was created before people had an understanding of science. I really dont understand how people can ignore science.

The people who wrote the creation story in the Bible lived in areas where an ice age wouldn't have affected them much. Sea levels would've been lower (lower to us, anyway), but other than that, they would've have known about that kind of thing. It was a higher latitude issue, and they were nearer the equator.
If you want to know if there really was an ice age, go to Sweden. The ground is still rising from being covered in ice - about an inch a year - and you can see the scratch marks left by the ice in the rocks. If we didn't have an ice age, why else would the ground currently be rising like that there?

There have been several ice ages, and there's plenty of evidence showing when they occurred and what effects they left behind.
Creation theory is not science, therefore it has no regard for evidence. Science begins with a question or an assertion, then looks to the evidence to either prove or disprove it. Creation theory begins with a single answer ("the existence of the universe means there must be a creator"), then manipulates the facts to fit the assertion.

Yes there was an ice age and if you hurry you can still see a few of those glaciers at Glacier National Park in Montana. I'd hurry though since global warming will cause them to disappear completely in the next hundred years. Why isn't it mentioned in the creation theory.. no idea.. I'm not a creationist.

The bible left out lots of things that obviously did happen. Dinosaurs, big bang theory, the Caucasian race, Russia, North pole, South pole, the Americas, atoms, I don't even remember anything about kangaroos and Australia in there either. Therefore the bible must be a fake? If your having that hard of a time believing then maybe you should try harder.
