There are several things you can do:
1) Put the dog on a feeding schedule. Rather than leaving a bowl of food out for her all day, let her eat twice a day, once in the morning and once in the late afternoon. This will help "condition" her bowels to work at specific times of the day. (If you leave food out for her all day, she'll have to poop all day.)
2) Remember that dogs usually have to go potty about 10-15 minutes after they eat, wake up from a nap, or get up in the morning. Be dilligent, and make sure to take dog outside at these opportune moments. Praise the dog whenever it potties outside to reinforce the behavior.
3) Don't use training pads; these teach the dog to eliminate inside the house. You want to train it to go OUTSIDE.
4) Watch your dog. Right before they squat to poop, dogs will walk in tight circles with their nose to the ground. This is their signal that they're looking for a good place to eliminate. Whenever you see this behavior say something like, "Potty outside" or "do you need to go outside?" and take the dog out immediately. The dog will eventually connect your spoken cue with the act of going outside for potty. Again, praise the dog whenever it goes potty outside.
5) Keep in mind that puppies have no conscious control of their bowels or bladder until they're about 4 months old (so crate training does NOT work for very young pups). You should still start training your dog to go outside before that time, but don't be surprised if the pup has a few accidents (if it's still very young.)
Never yell at, spank, or slap your dog, and don't push its face into its messes. This does nothing except to make your dog fearful of you. If you are consistent, calm and firm in your behavior, your dog will respect you as its alpha and take its behavioral cues from you.

You need to keep the dog in the room with you so you can keep an eye on her. You don't say how old this dog is, so I'm assuming she's a puppy. What you do is after a nap, after hard playing, after a long drink, or if she looks restless or hasn't been out for a while, you take her out. You need to go outside with her and the very second she pees, you give her lots and lots of praise, then come back in. This is to she learns the difference between play time and potty time outside.
Dogs learn very quickly through positive reinforcement for correct behaviour, and if you don't give her the opportunity to make mistakes, you don't need to correct. If she has an accident in the house, quielty clean it up. If you catch her in the act, tell her no very firmly and take her out.
If she's been going in the house you'll have to have all her spots cleaned because if she can smell anything, she'll keep going back there. Good luck.

Hi, I understand that you are looking for some advice or resources to help fully train your dog or fix behavior problems. If a professional dog trainer is not an option at this time, or if you want to trt training your dog on your own (a great way to bond), I'd suggest you https://bitly.im/aL1L4
A friend recommened it to me a few years ago, and I was amazed how quickly it worked, which is why I recommend it to others. The dog training academy also has as an excellent home training course.

Keep in mind that you have to set your puppy up for success!
I'm on my 3rd puppy and have become pretty successful. Find one place in your yard that you want her to go potty. A small area about 20' in diameter. When she goes potty in the house, clean up the mess with toilet paper or paper towels and take them out to the area you want her to go potty at and lay them on the grass, in that spot, so she smells the urine and poop when she goes outside and gets the idea what to do when she's put in that area. Next, first thing in the morning take her outside and go directly to the 'poo corner'. (thats what we call it.) In a nice voice say her name and tell her to go potty, go potty, go potty. If she is successful praise the heck out of her so she knows she did a GOOD thing! But, if she is unsuccessful, don't be negative. Then you can give her her breakfast. Take her out again 20 min. after every meal. From then on you have to take her out every two hours to the 'poo corner'. She doesn't have to go every time, but the idea here is that you will prevent almost all indoor accidents and put in her mind that outside is the only place to go potty.
If you take her out first thing in the morning, last thing at night, (if you can get up once during the night that would be great), 20 min after she eats, and every 2 hours, she will be trained in no time!
Its alot of work, but stick with it. SET HER UP FOR SUCCESS. SHE'LLL GET IT. They are smart dogs. Good luck!

You tell her no real firm and then you take the dog outside and tell him or her to do it there. They are smart they learn fast. Spank him or her a little next time it happens. In a few days the dog will learn. I have like 4 pure breed Keshonds and they are smarter and more respectful than 90% of the people I know.

my sister just got through training her dog, and the trainer said you need to keep the in a crate (up to 6 hours) and right when u let them out, take him outside so he has to go outisde. getting him to pee outside was easy, but it took a few months before he actually pooped. the crate technique should work, bc the dog obviously doesnt want to go on himself in the cage.
if he goes inside, dont rub their face in it, but tell them no if you catch them in the act. give them praise after he goes outside.
