Do you know his likes and dislikes? Find something he likes and start a conversation about that. Ask him to coffee, or whatever you like to drink. Show him ways you would be better for him (starting as a friend first) rather than the white, tiny, ugly witch, ha ! If it is meant to be, you will catch his eye and then maybe his heart. Good luck !

somehow let him know you are interested... with eye contact or something subtle. then let him make the next move. if he likes you then he'll get rid of her but if not move on. simple as that.
