Iran islamofascist is a bogus threat, mainly because we westerners would not convert to islam..

of all arab countries saudi arabia is islamist, the rest lebanon and the occupied palestine is secular and democratic..

I cannot find anything in the congressional record approving "torture". By the way when you provide the link for your ASSertion would you also provide us your definition of torture. I have included a few links that I call torture below but have yet to be shown ANYTHING that would prove the US does this.

My understanding is the pain caused be equivalent in intensity to the pain accompanying serious physical injury, such as organ failure, impairment of bodily function, or even death. That would be torture. Being forced to stay in a room is not.

One further question, at what point would you consider torture in the extreme to be a reasonable tool in the saving of lives? Let's say that hizbullah or al queda has a 20 kiloton nuclear device in the US and they are going to detonate it in the week, we have captured five of their top people who know the specifics and if we get the information it will save 8,000,000 to 10,000,000 innocent lives. Is extreme torture a legitimate tool for you at that point, or would you rather see the millions slaughtered.

If you would like learn something about fascism, you need to study the ISLAMOFASCIST movement in Iran, it is indeed frightening.

Have any of you noticed, most county's do the same thing. Some of us call it, digging for the truth.

Personally, I believe it's necessary to get to the truth in order to ward off a pending attack, where hundreds, if not thousands of lives could be in the balance.

Tyranny! Oh, let's keep our decorum, even if it means sacrificing thousands of lives because you said so.

During WWII, the US went into a few battles early on, and didn't do to well. Actually, in the Pacific against the Japanese, it got whupped, the first few times out.

The US began winning these battles, starting with Guadalcanal, when it realized it was to timid against a very hard core enemy. It wasn't until we devised a few hard core tactics of our own, that we started winning. Once we started winning, we never lost!

If it takes a few terrorist's finger nails, tongues, genitalia or even lives, to get to the truth, I'm for it!

Funny how I missed the torture of innocent people. Please do us a favor. Go buy a brain and get it installed. Then learn before sprouting off crap from moveon.org.
