NO..... because it is not there!

This is a unique prayer for the Catholics. They pray to a lot of dead people, even though the Bible tells us not to communicate with the dead.

The Bible also tells us to take our prayers to God. We have one intercessor and that is our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Timothy 2:5. For there is one God, AND ONE MEDIATOR BETWEEN GOD AND MEN, THE MAN CHRIST JESUS;

No mention of saints.
Phillippians 4: 6. Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving LET YOUR REQUESTS BE MADE KNOWN UNTO GOD

I have been accused of picking and choosing texts from the Bible so I encourage you to read the above texts in context. And then keep reading..... nowhere in teh Bible does it tell us to pray to anyone but the Father ... ask in Jesus name.

The Hail Mary is derived from the Annunciation (visit of Gabriel to Mary to proclaim her the mother of Jesus), and the Visitation (Mary's visit to Elizabeth, mother of John the Baptist. Luke 1:26-56.

The Rosary is an invention of the Catholics'. It is used to help us concentrate in prayer and meditation.

And no, Catholics do not worship Mary, we ask her for intercession. Notice the prayer goes: "Pray for us"; not "forgive us", or "absolve us", or "deliver us". We are asking for help from someone who is a lot closer to God than we are. That is one of the biggest and most insidious misunderstandings about Catholicism.

And the thought that the Bible must contain all Truth is fallacious. First, the Bible as we know it only came into being hundreds of years after the death of Christ. Also, until a couple hundred years ago, reading was something reserved for the privileged few. Why would God leave the vast majority of the human population at the mercy of the minority that could read?
Also, the Bible has been translated and re-translated; from Aramaic and Hebrew to Latin and Greek, and then on to other Languages. The nuances and even some of the original thought is lost in a translation. If the Bible is so absolutely critical that it is the sole container of truth, then why don't you read it in its original tongue? That's what Islam has done, the Koran must always be available in its original Arabic, even in translated volumes.
Seems like a sloppy way of preserving the only truths that can save one's soul, no?

Luke ch1 “Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.”
Also in appendix under items for sale.
lol.
Rosary beads were a 13c invention by St Dominic - traditional belief.
"1569 Pope Pius V established the current form of the original 15 mysteries[9]
1597 first recorded use of term "rosary" to refer to prayer beads.
2002 Pope John Paul II introduces the Luminous Mysteries."
The catholic church doesn't endorse personal interpretation of the bible, but rather the following of the church's teachings.

A rosary is a spread of meditative prayer. You carry the beads, say the prayers, even as MEDITATING on Christ's life. The meditation section is the authentic section--one which an excellent variety of human beings don't realize. that's totally unhappy because it really is an fairly eye-catching variety of prayer. The Catholic Church, it really is the church Christ surpassed down with the help of Peter, believes interior the bible and works. we do not trust, case in aspect, that you'll easily "be kept" and then go with the help of life doing even if you desire and get a loose pass to heaven. We trust it really is quite sensible to stay out your faith and stay strong. i hit upon that individuals typically condemn the Catholic church with no want a strong understand-how of it. The Catholic catechism is amazingly informative. you also ought to verify the conversion memories of Scott Hahn and Jeff Cavins to appreciate issues from a Protestant attitude. both were protestant ministers and intensely adversarial to Catholic teachings earlier their training and biblical analyze led them to the Catholic Church. Scott Hahn, in certain change into very anti-Catholic and anti-rosary--so he will be a strong one to analyze.

Hail Mary-Luke Chapter 1. It is how the Archangel Gabriel approached her. Read your bible, because it is there.

The rosary is a prayer guide, many faiths use beads. Including several protestant groups.

The bible doesn't say a rapture will happen. But some of you believe it's true.

Planes, cars, blacks, latinos, sports, tv, multimillionaire televangelist are NOT in the bible. I guess most of the modern world is totally fake!

When the angel greeted Mary, he said "hail", which is a greeting. Oddly enough, the Catholics turned it into a form of worship. And there is nothing in the bible about rosary beads.

Hail Mary is something I sold to the Catholics for $50 unlimited use. Rosary beads are just for fun.

it doesn't say anything like that in the bible. it is what the catholic believe no other church believes that .. just go by the bible. GOD said to prove everythingby the bible. for years the catholic didn't want the people reading the bible. just like the priest say to tell him your sin and say a couple things and you will be forgiven. that is wrong. it is only JESUS who forgives us our sins.

Mary is mentioned in the bible, but not once its mentioned that we should worship her, NEVER ONCE!

this is a perfect example of "You should read and follow the bible and Not what your religion tells you to believe in!"

It doesn't. These are both part of Catholic tradition. It's just a method of worship that a particular group of Christians chooses to use.
