I have had dogs and cats and I always talk to them in baby talk. One day my husband asked me why I did and my answer was because they are my babies as well as the children.

yes, I do baby talk with my itty bitty kitty. Silly but she responds better to the tone than regular sounds. I also sing to my kitty as well. The more off key the faster she will come to me..The song she loves the best is you are so beautiful.. I know it is silly but i don't care my kitty is part of my family and i love her very much..I will use anything that works well to get the attention of kitty.

Not baby talk. I speak to them in what my friend calls my "cat voice".

I guess if you call meowing at them baby talk... They love it when I meow back, it's like they understand... lol. So in a way I guess that's baby talk to a cat.

yes/ i do it w/ my bro's cat. he hates it. but i still do it anyway to annoy my brother. but the cat loves the baby talk. in fact i baby talk all my animals.

No. I sing to mine, and make up new words for songs so its about them. They seem to like it.
