The towel wrap is easy! You just bend your head down and wrap the towel around (twist) and put your head back up. If your towel is not too big, you can tuck it under at the back. People may wear a bathrobe because they are not totally dry yet.

Bend over so your hair is hanging down from the top of your head. Put the towel on the back of your head so that equal amounts are hanging on each side. Bring the ends forward and twist them together and as you finish but still while grasping the end of the twist rise up. Tuck the end of the twist under the edge of the towel in front.
I can understand why people wear bathrobes after a shower, but personally I go from shower, to drying, to getting dressed.

You have to lean forward with your head down, the towel has to be a large bath towel, not bath sheet, then you put your head in the middle of the towel and grab the towel edges with each hand and bring them together in the front and wrap one side over the other and flip your head back slowly until you get used to it. With practice this becomes easier.
As for a bathrobe after a shower, for me it is because when I put my makeup on I sometimes drop the applicator and I don't want makeup on my clothes.

I don't know why people use bathrobes, I thought the whole point of taking a shower was because you're getting ready, right?
Anyways, for the towel thing, I just double up (like you're laughing really hard), so that my head is upside-down next to my knees (well, you don't have to be that close to your knees.... just so you get the jist), and take the middle of the towel that's on the long side and wrap that part around the bottom of your hair line (from ear to ear). gather it all towards the top of your forehead and twist a few times. it should stay

they're weird.
lol.
bend your head over so your hair is coming down in front of you.
Place the wide end of the towel on your neck coming up to your head.
Bunch up the towel around your hair.
Twist it 2 times in the same directing beeing careful not to pull your hair, and then carefully place the twisted towel ontop of ur head.
I always get dressed- dont understand people who wear robes..... yeah.

Jst put all ur hair in the front, n put ur towel over it, with the edge at the nape of ur neck. Then the remaining portion of the towel should be twisted n jst flung over the head so that it rests at the back. This workss only for long hair though

others already said how to wrap your hair up with a towel.
some people wear bathrobes after shower because some water from the wet hair drips. it simply doesn't look good when your clothes(especially the back part) get wet with those drips.

Put your towel on the floor in front of you so that it is wider than it is tall. Lay the middle of the side facing towards you on your high forehead. Gather the rest under the back of your head, twist it, and lay it on top of your head. It does take some practice, though.
