Pretty much and they also need cesarians because they can't give birth naturally due to the size of the puppies heads.

Certain breed of bulldogs yes must be bred artificially and most are delivered by c-section as the pups heads will not pass through the birth canal or the pelvis of the female.

It's true....I've seen the procedure performed and have assisted many times. Because of the English bulldogs desired physical characteristics, the males are not agile enough to do their "manly" duty. Fortunately, these guys usually look forward to a visit to the vet! Sometimes, I can almost see them smile! lol

Depends on what type of bulldog.
English Bulldogs-Yes and they also need C-sections to deliver.

American Bulldogs, Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldogs,Olde English Bulldogge(Aka..old english bulldog) and French Bulldogs are all free breeders.Meaning they will breed on their own.

The majority do. I have a good friend that has been breeding them for years, and he does AI's on most of his breedings. C-sections almost always a must too.

I think so, and I also heard that they have to give birth by c-section. This is why the pups are so expensive.
