Ive been going out with my boyfriend for 4 months.About a month into the relationship we started arguing. I trust my fella with my life but at the wkends he drinks a hell of a lot which i hate and tends to go on the missing list, sometimes for a whole weekend. This has caused countless arguments and i find myself becoming more stressed out with him at the slightest things.Until i spoke to him about it he didnt see anything wrong with going AWOL for days at a time but now understands the way i feel about it.He worships the ground i walk on and i love him but im constantly moody with him.Today for example, i was meant to meet up with him.I called him and he sed that he thought it might be better if we meet tonight as he was down the pub watching the footie and he knew i'd be bored if i went down to see him, which is true.Instead of saying that was fine i went completley mad at him.I think its only a matter of time before we split because of my anger towards him, but i dont want it to end!

In a relationship both parties must sacrifice. I guess he has got a habbit which he cannot change. If you are really in love with him and want to keep it going, i think you should be a bit more patient with the smaller things. It seems like he understands youre views towards his obsession with drinking and you can slowly help him cut down. If he is truly in love with you, he will make an effort.

You need to take some time and really assess how you truly feel about him. Is it truly the guy that you dont want to end the relationship with, or is it just that you dont want to be alone? Can u really deal with these frustrations or is it going to continue to be such a problem for you. Maybe you should also seek some counseling to help you sort through your feelings. Just take everything very slow, be open and honest with him and more importantly yourself.

Do you really think all this stress is worth it?

Either talk to him straightforward and tell him how it makes you feel, or move on to someone better.

You say you trust him with your life...would you still say the same if he were drunk?

just tell him y u get mad all the time.. even if u already have before reiterate the point... and if he still doens't understand or doesn't care then he doesn't worship the ground u walk on.. it may just be best to move on
