Yes they do, very grudgy dogs are, when I leave my dog for over a day or two he's grumpy at me when I come back and ignores me when I give him a command.
But once its feeding time he's back at my knees. lol

I don't believe dogs hold a grudges against humans, but I do believe they can have grudges against other dogs. If two dogs get in a fight over dominance issues, most of the time, they will always fight anytime they are together, until the issue is firmly settled and one dog admits to defeat and becomes submissive.

When my sister got married, she gave her 4-year-old miniature poodle to a retired woman living in a nearby town. A couple of years later, she visited the woman, and the dog must have remembered what she did, and growled at her the whole time she was there, and when she got up to leave, the dog chased her and tried to bite her! The woman was ashamed of the dog's behavior, and called him, "Nasty thing!"

I bloody hate dogs I do. I don't know about dogs having grudges but I bloody well have a grudge against them! They have no dignity. They slobber, they bark and they bite and they won't leave anybody alone - even folks like me who bloody hates dogs. AND they crap all over the place and you have to clear it up. Yuukkk! I bloody hate dogs I do! Did I mention that I really really bloody hate dogs?

Yes they do. Some dogs are naturally worse than others about that. Peeing in your shoes, and only the person that did it.

Dogs aren't people - they don't hold grudges and they don't go for revenge.

Not sure but I don't think so. I smack my poodle when he does something wrong. Despite the smacking, when I call him he will still come to me wagging his tail as if nothing has happened. So I dont think they have grudges.THey are very human in some ways and not in many ways.
