sounds pretty normal to me. When a child learns a new skill, especially a communication skill, they tend to use it alot.

LOL! I remember when my kids discovered that shaking her head got a reaction from us. This is nothing to worry about. She's learned that by shaking her head "no" you react and to her that's like brain food for her to process into decision making. She'll be saying "no" a lot from now on because it also empowers her. I've learned that if you offer a choice of "this or that" as opposed to "yes or no" you can reduce the amount of times she will refuse something making your life a bit easier. Sort of like, "Do you want to wear this shirt?" and she answers with a big fat "NO!". Instead offer her a choice of, "Do you want to wear the blue shirt or the red shirt?" This way, you have less of a chance of combating the "NO" syndrome...

If she is saying no when she does it then this is fine. When a baby learns something, they will repeat it over and over until the next thing they learn. They learn from repetition, remember, that's why they like to watch a program or movie ten million times, I think they also do it to drive us nuts by forcing us to know and subconsciously recite all the words to whatever movie they are watching!!!

does someone in the house hold do this action a lor, that is the only way she could have learned, a child this young only learns by watching others... there is nothing to worry about she will learn other things and then do those often too... its perfectly normal

This is a phase, all normal. At that age, they tend to do something newly discovered for a loooooooooooooong time.
