Is there a way to select several folders and consolidate all the files into one folder?

Is there a windows command or method that will let you select a bunch of folders, then put all the files in those folders into only one folder with one click or command?

I knew this was going to happen.

I don't want to copy and paste the folders.

I want to extract thousands of files from a bunch of folders all at once, and put them into one foler in one click. I suspect there is a trick to doing this. Or, if not, a program that will do it.

Not with one click but this may help:

Open and Explorer window (left pane has hierachy of folders),

open another explorer window with the folder you want to place all the files into open.

on the first window select your folder, press CTRL+A to select all, CTRL+X to cut,

click on your second window and press CTRL+V

Repeat for other folders.

copy and paste! Create a folder, copy all the folders you want to put in it. You can copy multiple folders by holding the control key down nad clicking them. Paste them into the new folder. You can then delete the folders that you copied if you desire.
