We adopted our third dog through petfinder.com. He came from the same adoption group where we had adopted our other dogs -he is actually a littermate to our second dog which is why we were interested in him. His name is Malibu and he is a retired racing greyhound. His sister is Skyy and they are like two peas in a pod. They immediately recognized each other and have many of the same mannerisms. Sometimes they are the best of friends and snuggle and play together and other times his sister just likes to boss him around.

I volunteer for the SPCA and take some pix to be posted for them on that website. I was checking out the website one day and saw this beautiful purebred malamute , named Sheba (she came with papers) 6 years old, fully trained, and housebroken, the perfect dog! I fell inlove with her and saw her at the kennel and had to have her. I've had her for about 5 months now and she is the sweetest most loyal and loving dog, I dont know how anyone would have given her up but I'm sure glad to have found her!

I saw my dog, Rusty (a shepherd/shar-pei mix), on petfinder.com, and I passed over him to look at other dogs. But when I actually got to the shelter, he picked me.

The shelter we adopted from does use petfinder, but we just went to the shelter in person and chose her. However, she was on petfinder if we would have looked.
